Volunteer Information

The volunteer package is complimentary and includes:

• 1 Peter Millar volunteer golf shirt
• Another shirt can be purchased for a fee during registration process

• Breakfast, lunch and snacks before and/or after shifts
• If you volunteer for 4 shifts, inclusion in the Volunteer Appreciation Outing on Monday, October 11, 2020

Volunteer Job Descriptions

On-Course Walking and Stationary Scorers

• On-course scoring entails standing in a position or walking 18-holes while using a scoring device/tablet
• Stroke play and rounds 1–3 of match play: Stationary Scoring
• Rounds 4–6 of match play: Walking Scoring
• Shifts: Saturday, August 28–Thursday, September 2 (AM and PM)

Forecaddies

• Volunteers will assist players and USGA officials with locating balls during Championship play, spectator control on designated holes, and various areas throughout the golf course
• Shifts: Saturday, August 28–Thursday, September 2 (AM and PM)

Practice Facilities

• Volunteers will staff various stations at the Registration tables providing information to players, distributing packets, assisting players with signing of the player scroll and player photos, etc.
• Shifts: Wednesday, August 25–Thursday, September 2
